Britain's Got Talent 2024 finalists: Full list of acts that have made it so far (2024)

Only two spots remain for the Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) finalists as semi-finals approach their end, with seven acts already through to Sunday’s final.

Contestants of all ages audition for the show, showcasing a wide range of talents, with musicians, singers, variety acts, magicians, dancers, and comedians all competing to secure their chance to appear at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Royal Family.

Since the auditions, contestants have vied for the attention of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli—to advance to the live rounds. Abigail & Affronitaa and Northants Sings Out joined the five other acts waved through to the final on Thursday night.

In each semi-final, two acts advance to the grand final—one through a public vote and the other chosen by the judges. Here are all the acts through to the final.

Abigail & Afronitaaa

This dance teacher and student duo received a a standing ovation and roars of enthusiasm from the BGT audience for their performance soundtracked by Brighter Days by Sigala.

20-year-old dance teacher Abigail and her seven-year-old student Abigail effortlessly sailed through to the final bagging themselves the highest number of public votes of the night in the process.

As the audience erupted following Azonto routine, a Gahnian dance, Simon Cowell, referenced the cheers in the auditorium saying, “I think what is happening behind me is more important than what I say.

“When you’ve got it, you’ve got it. I thought last night “Yeah I’ve got a feeling I know who’s going to win the show this year,” and I’ve just changed my mind.'”

Northants Sings Out

Clinching the second pass by pipping dance troupe Pheonix Boys to the post, the hundred-plus-member community choir made it all the way from Northamptonshire to the Sunday’s BGT final.

Headed by the choral mind behind Liam Gallagher’s sell-out Knebworth shows in 2022, Gareth Fuller, the celebrity chorist said, “We’ve been working so hard throughout this whole process and had such a great time. To be able to perform one more time and share in the love, joy, and excitement together will be a real privilege.

Following their performance of Livin Joy’s ‘Dreamer, Fuller added: “It would be amazing for us to get through to the final and would mean everything for us to win BGT this year. We’ve never seen a choir win the competition.”

Jack Rhodes

The magician Jack garnered the highest number of public votes to secure an automatic spot in the final in Monday’s first semi-final.

Jack, who left his job as a nuclear engineer in January, has been creating comedy and magic-related YouTube videos since 2020 and has already announced his UK tour, Part-Time Wizard Full-Time Moron, in October.

His performance, featured card tricks, dynamite, and an escape from a TV, left the judges in awe, with judge Simon Cowell remarking that Jack might “win the show”.

Haribow

During the auditions, the group took to the stage with boundless energy, declaring they were “here to win” after traveling 20 hours to audition from Japan.

Their initial performance, featuring skilful choreography with skipping ropes, dancing and backflips, dazzled the judges, leading to a standing ovation from both judges and audience.

After Jack had won the public vote, the judges faced a tough decision between Ravi’s Dream Team choir and Haribow. With their vote resulting in a deadlock, head judge Simon Cowell refused to make the final decision and it was revealed that Haribow had secured second place in the public vote, earning them a spot in the final.

Innocent Massuku

The opera singer returned to the BGT stage after impressing the judges in the first round of auditions. Dubbed “the best opera singer we have ever had” by Holden, Massuku secured his place in the grand final with a powerful semi-final performance.

Singing “Now We Are Free” from Hans Zimmer’s score for Gladiator, he delivered a stunning display of vocal virtuosity, showcasing his exceptional power and control.

Tonioli appeared particularly moved, and while giving Masssaku a standing ovation said: “The control in your phrasing is unbelievable. You could never tell when one phrase ended and another started. Absolutely flawless!”

Massuku’s rendition during the first semi-final then impressed viewers, as he stormed to victory through the public vote. Reflecting on his achievement, he described the experience as “amazing” and “so special.”

For now, he is the bookies favourite to win at 3/1.

Sslaubi Performance Troupe

The troupe also captivated the audience, earning them a spot in the final with Dixon and Tonioli both backing them, and Holden’s vote ensuring their advancement.

This meant Cowell did not have to vote as the group were already through, but he later said he would have chosen them over dog act The Trickstars. The troupe expressed then expressed their gratitude to the judges, stating they aimed to showcase “everything they had” in their performance.

Her performance of “My Way” by Frank Sinatra blew the judges away during the semi-final. Her powerhouse vocals and emotional stage presence led to a standing ovation, with Tonioli dabbing his eyes whileHolden fanned herself.

Dixon said she was left “dumbfounded” whilee Cowell said the performance was an “11” out of 10. “If it wasn’t for people like you, I wouldn’t bother making this show,” he added.

Mike Woodhams

He wowed the crowd with his medley, consisting of hits from the likes of Cher, Rick Astley, Shakira, Take That and Amanda Holden – with the latter left shocked by his rendition of her singing “Not While I’m Around” by Barbra Streisand in 2020.

Tonioli said Woodhams had sung “all [his] favourite gay idols, Shirley Bassey, Cher, Amanda.” Holden praised his physicality during his performance, and added: “I’m very flattered you did me in there, that was very sweet.”

After Sydnie Christmas won the first spot in the final, it was down to Woodhams and Leightonjay Halliday to get the final spot. Tonioli and Holden voted for dancer Halliday, and Dixon and Cowell voted for Woodhams, meaning it went to the public vote. In the end the musician gained the most votes from the audience.

When is the Britain’s Got Talent final?

The semi-finals commenced on Monday 27 May, and will continue until Friday 31 May. You can watch the show on ITV and ITVX at 8pm on these days to catch all the action.

Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli are then set to preside over the BGT final. The finalists will have their moment to shine one last time on Sunday 2 June, with the excitement beginning at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.

The winner of the series will walk away with the £250,000 cash prize and earn a coveted spot on the bill of the Royal Variety Performance.
